Since a management buyout (MBO) in 2001, our Group has dramatically expanded business through proactive M&A and investment activities. For example, we have acquired new commercial rights by investing in Advanced Material Japan Corporation, a specialist in rare metals. Another advantage is our powerful, extensive overseas network, encompassing our own consolidated subsidiaries as well as the overseas offices of Sojitz Corporation, a major general trading company.
