Privacy Policy

ALCONIX CORPORATION (hereinafter referred to as “The Company”) shall establish a privacy policy as follows (hereinafter referred to as “This Policy”) and handle personal information with the utmost care and attention in order to protect personal information (meaning personal information as defined in Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (hereinafter referred to as the “Personal Information Protection Act”); hereinafter the same) entrusted to it by customers.

1. Acquisition of personal information

   After identifying the purpose of use, The Company shall acquire personal information within the scope necessary by legal and fair means.

2. Use of personal information

   The Company shall use the personal information of customers within the scope of the following purposes of use. Except as permitted by law, The Company shall not use personal information beyond the scope of the following purposes of use listed below without the permission of customers.

   1. Negotiations on transactions with customers, introductions, communication, contracts, order acceptance, settlement and other processing and management of transactions with customers
   2. Transfer of The Company’s products and services in transactions with customers
   3. Provision of guidance on events, exhibitions, etc., and other information on The Company’s products and services
   4. Improvement of the quality of The Company’s products and services, and planning and development of new products and services
   5. Surveys and analysis of information on The Company’s products and services
   6. Information exchanges and communication with the industry and organizations in relation to The Company’s business
   7. Handling of inquiries, requests for materials, etc., from customers
   8. Provision of information and handling of communication, etc., concerning recruitment activities
   9. In addition to the above, the purpose of use presented by The Company when receiving the provision of personal information
3. Provision of personal information to third parties

   Except as otherwise provided by law, The Company shall not provide personal information to third parties without the consent of customers.
   The Company may provide the personal information of customers to a third party in a foreign country. The foreign country in question may not have a personal information protection system of the same level as Japan, and The Company shall not provide the personal information of customers to any third party in a foreign country other than one that implements the measures required under the Personal Information Protection Act of Japan, unless permitted by law or if the consent of customers has been obtained by a legally established method.

4. Joint use of personal information

   The Company shall use the personal information provided by customers jointly as follows.

   The Company shall take the necessary and appropriate measures to prevent the leakage or loss of, or damage to the personal information provided by customers and implement other safety management. 6. Education on personal information

   The Company has established internal regulations on the protection of personal information, implements them while making employees of The Company (including general officers and employees, part-timers, dispatch workers, etc.) and other related parties fully aware of them, and improves and maintains them.

7. Disclosure, correction, suspension of use, etc., of personal information

   The Company shall respond appropriately in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act and other laws and regulations if a customer or their representative has made a request with regard to personal information retained by The Company for notification of its purpose of use, disclosure (including disclosure of records of provision to third-parties), correction, addition, deletion, discontinuation of use, erasure or discontinuation of provision to third parties.
