Basic Policy for Sustainability
Sustainability-related policies and measures are discussed during meetings of the Sustainability Committee, which is chaired by the director and senior managing executive officer, who serves as CSO in charge of the Group’s sustainability strategy. The outcomes of these meetings are then reported to the Management Committee. To promote initiatives addressing material issues, the Sustainability Committee and its subcommittees apply the PDCA cycle for E (Environment) and S (Society), while the Internal Control Committee applies the PDCA cycle for G (Governance) and H (Human capital). The two committees work in close coordination.

In December 2021, the ALCONIX Group established its Sustainability Committee. The Sustainability Committee, chaired by the Director and Senior Managing Executive Officer (CSO), aims to enhance the Company's initiatives on key sustainability issues (materiality) in line with its Basic Sustainability Policy, primarily from a corporate social responsibility (CSR) perspective. Efforts to address materiality are advanced through a PDCA cycle, with the Sustainability Committee and its subcommittees handling Environmental (E) and Social (S) matters, and the Internal Control Committee handling Governance (G) and Human Capital (H). The two committees work in close coordination.
